Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of GEO Scanner and related services (the “Service”) published by LAR Technology Joint Stock Company (“GEO Scanner”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into a binding contract on behalf of the entity you represent.

2. Nature of the Service

GEO Scanner analyzes the publicly available content of a URL you submit and returns a Readiness Score, a Visibility check across AI engines (such as ChatGPT and Perplexity), and a diagnostic report. The scan is read-only. We never modify, sign into, or otherwise access non-public parts of the site being scanned. Scores and recommendations reflect our analysis at the time of the scan and are not a guarantee that any AI engine will cite or recommend your site.

3. Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised access or suspected breach.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, which lists conduct that is prohibited on the Service, including scanning sites you do not have a legitimate reason to assess, attempting to circumvent rate limits or access controls, and reverse-engineering the Service.

5. Fees

A first Readiness and Visibility scan of your own site is free. Any paid plan will be described on the pricing page or order form in effect at the time you subscribe to it.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime guarantee unless agreed in a separate service-level agreement. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance with reasonable notice where feasible.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, its documentation, and its marks. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service during your subscription.

8. Warranties & disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not control, and make no warranty about, whether any third-party AI engine will cite or recommend a scanned site, even after implementing our recommendations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms for convenience at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, the AUP, or applicable law, or if your use poses a security or abuse risk to the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 7, 8, and 9) will do so.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
