Cookie Policy
Last updated
This Cookie Policy explains how GEO Scanner (“GEO Scanner”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on geoscaner.com and the GEO Scanner app (the “Sites”). It supplements the Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember information about your visit, such as the language you prefer or whether you are signed in. We also use related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage for similar purposes; references to “cookies” in this policy include those technologies.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Sites to work, for example keeping you signed in to the GEO Scanner app, remembering your locale, and protecting forms against abuse with Cloudflare Turnstile. These cannot be disabled.
Performance & security
Help us understand how the Sites are used at an aggregate level (page-load timing, error reporting) and detect abuse. Where this category includes third-party tools, those providers act as our processors.
Optional / analytics
If we enable analytics or marketing cookies in a particular jurisdiction, we will ask for your consent first via a banner on the Sites and you will be able to withdraw consent at any time.
3. Third parties
We do not sell your personal data. Some pages embed content from third parties (for example, demo videos or maps) that may set their own cookies; those cookies are governed by the relevant third party’s privacy notice.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may prevent the Sites from working as intended, for example you may be signed out of the GEO Scanner app. Where we use a consent banner for optional cookies, you can change your choice at any time via the banner.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
